Throughout our lives we seek, yearn, need, question, pray, beg, fight, dream...and in our being is the THIRST...What for actually?
Throughout this performance which is based on the best principles of movement theatre, the performers undertake a series of journeys and engage in situations around love, dispair, regret, jealousy, hate, power-play, survival strategies... and during all their actions they each carry in their hands a large glass filled with water...
The methodology of this author is based on five elements and their manifestations in the personalities of individual (in the body, mind and spirit). From this stems a strict and clear dramaturgical line though there is no spoken word. Expressive dialogues and monologues are delivered but this is not pantomime.
Organic, natural acting evolves and yet this is not drama theatre. The author nurtures a very specific choreographic aesthetic, yet this work does not belong to any specific dance form. Through a very unique approach, the actors in this work present a specific type of rationale for their actions and bring to life objects and yet this is not a puppet type of performance.
